The problem: Sporting events that open with insulting renditions of the United States National Anthem performed by talentless pop "singers" whose self-aggrandizing vocal gymnastics destroy the dignity of the occasion.
The solution: a Navy band.

ReplyDeleteJust curious?? Why wasn't the Navy Band in Newport playing the Anthem vise the DC Band?
ReplyDeleteNavy Band Newport was the band I was in that did the Red Sox game circa 1982-85.
